adolescence

Assalamualaikum..

All praises to Allah.and peace be upon His messenger.


54 years old..that sounds fairly old indeed.for a human being at least..but for a nation,that is like adolescence or teenage year.or maybe even younger than that..

Adolescence is well known to be a period of turbulence for most of us.a period full with uncertainties.filled with confusion.an emotionally unstable period of time.

It is the time when we started having the urge to find an identity for ourselves.that's the reason why some of us become 'emo' kids.some become punk rockers.wear skinny tight jeans.baggy jeans.bell bottom pants.some become video game freaks.some build Gundam robots.some went skateboarding.some prefer motorbikes.some read tonnes of comics.some cannot get enough of porns.some smoke cigarettes.some inject drugs into their veins.

Despite this rather seemingly miserable years,most of us turned out to be alright afterall.we become doctors.become lawyers.engineers.we flew airplanes.sail ships.become someone important and beneficial to society.we got married.have kids.become a good father.good mother.good husband.good wife.

For those among us who had gone through the adolescence years, you would surely agree to the fact that you have learnt so many things during that chaotic and unstable phase of your life.you didnt quit nor give up halfway through.you made it through and become a much wiser and enlightened adult.

If you didnt give up during your adolescence years.why must you give up during your own nation's teenage-hood?

Teenagers need support and guidance to sail through this chaotic time.they shouldnt be left alone.afterall,their future is our future too.
