assalamualaikum...peace to all...
being a medical student, i cant avoid from facing the pile of wordy books with terribly difficult-to-understand sentences.
the bulkiest book of all is the pathology's.it's so enormous that i've never moved it away from my desk once i put it there.
still, the book is the most interesting i reckon. not because of its excessive academic contents though(hell no), but it's due to some funny yet deeply meaningful things mentioned in the book.and one that captured my attention is this sentence:
'it begins to appear that almost everything that one does to gain a livelihood or for pleasure is fattening, immoral, illegal, or, even worse, oncogenic."
....such a depressing thing to say.......
but thinking about it, what the author wrote is pretty much true isnt it?
